Portage Curling Club Capital Campaign

The Portage Curling Club has initiated a capital campaign to fund work required on the exterior ice house roof, a de-humidification system, ice house insulation, interior ice house ceiling repairs and other capital needs.  The initial goal is $50,000.  All donations are fully tax deductible.  

Recognition Levels:

$250 to $499:  Recognition Celebration Dinner

$500 to $999:  Wall Plaque Nameplate

$1000+:  Viewing Chair Nameplate

The Portage Curling Club was established in 1852.  The club operates a 4-sheet facility from late October until March each year.  Leagues are offered for men, women and mixed rinks, as well as a junior curling program.  The Portage Curling Club is located in Columbia County Wisconsin, home to five curling clubs.

Work Nights Begin Tuesday September 13

Work nights begin on Tuesday September 13 at 6:30 PM at the club and continue every Tuesday thereafter.  First flood is planned for Tuesday October 4.  Please come to the club on Tuesday evenings to help with annual maintenance.  Free beer afterwards for all who assist.

The club is installing dehumidification for the 2016-2017 curling season with funds from the capital campaign.  Installation will be completed in the fall


Autumn Curling in Poynette

The Poynette Fall Leagues run from September 6 to October 27, 2016

Open to all interested curlers, regardless of club affiliation

Leagues on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays
